The seven to ten days that follow your treatment are when the right skincare makes the greatest difference to the clarity of your results. The wrong products during this window can compromise everything the treatment achieved. The right ones compound it.
The Calm and Restore Ritual is a four-product JUARA sequence formulated specifically for post-IPL and post-laser recovery. Anti-inflammatory botanicals, deep hydration and antioxidant protection — the three non-negotiables for skin recovering from light and heat stimulation. Every product chosen for what it does not contain as much as what it does.
Recovery window: Days 1 to 10 post treatment.
Rice Facial Cleanser — Day 1 onwards
Gentle enough for the morning after treatment. Sulfate-free, it removes impurities without any risk of irritation or barrier disruption. Rice bran buffers the drying effect of tap water on photosensitised skin — the only cleanser we recommend in the days immediately following IPL or laser.
Triple Tea Antioxidant Essence — Day 1 onwards
Your most important post-IPL product. White, green and black tea are all clinically proven anti-inflammatories. Tamarind seed extract visibly calms redness within minutes of application. The 0.2% hyaluronic acid attracts and retains surface moisture — essential for skin that has been heat-stimulated and is actively losing hydration. Press in with cool palms and hold gently against skin.
Sweet Black Tea and Rice Moisturiser — Day 1 onwards
Fermented black tea kombucha's polyphenols protect against the oxidative stress that heat-stimulated skin generates internally. Rice bran oil and hyaluronic acid rebuild barrier function from the first application. Five-flavor berry firms and strengthens the new skin emerging post-treatment. Apply in thin pressing layers rather than massaging.
Miracle Tea Complete Eye Crème — Day 2 onwards
If IPL or laser was performed near the eye area — for pigmentation, fine lines or broken capillaries — the Miracle Tea Eye Crème supports recovery of the delicate periorbital skin where other post-treatment products are too heavy or too active. African golden chamomile reduces puffiness and promotes lymphatic drainage. Apply with the ring finger using the Balinese press technique — never drag.

Morning and evening throughout your recovery window. Apply each product with pressing rather than massaging motions — post-IPL skin is more fragile than it appears and dragging can cause irritation.
Day 1 onwards: Rice Facial Cleanser → Triple Tea Essence (cool palms, hold against skin) → Sweet Black Tea and Rice Moisturiser (thin pressing layers).
Day 2 onwards: Add the Miracle Tea Complete Eye Crème after the moisturiser if IPL was performed near the eye area.
Follow with SPF 50+ sunscreen every morning without exception — post-IPL skin is highly photosensitive and sun exposure during the recovery window will directly compromise your results.
Important: Do not introduce any active serums, exfoliants or new products until Day 10 at the earliest. If you experience unusual sensitivity beyond normal post-treatment redness, consult your treating therapist before continuing.
Post-IPL and post-laser skin has been deliberately stressed — the treatment's mechanism depends on that controlled inflammatory response. What you apply in the recovery window either supports or undermines that process. These four products were chosen because they are anti-inflammatory without being passive — they actively support the skin's own recovery biology while delivering none of the actives that could interfere with it.
