The JUARA Rice Facial Cleanser is the foundation of every JUARA ritual. Rooted in the Jamu tradition of Indonesia, this gentle sulfate-free formula draws on the natural power of rice bran to cleanse without stripping — leaving skin soft, calm and balanced rather than tight and dry.
Unlike conventional cleansers that disrupt the skin's natural barrier, the Rice Facial Cleanser works with your skin's pH. It removes makeup, excess oil and daily impurities while depositing candlenut oil and rice bran extract back into the skin — so you finish your cleanse with skin that feels genuinely nourished, not just clean.

The Rice Facial Cleanser is suitable for all skin types and all JUARA rituals. It is especially beneficial for skin that feels tight, irritated or sensitive after cleansing — a sign your current cleanser may be stripping your natural oils.
It is also the recommended cleanser for post-treatment skin recovery after laser, IPL, chemical peels and microneedling — gentle enough to use from day one after treatment.
Morning and evening. Wet face with lukewarm water. Apply a small amount to fingertips and lather gently. Massage onto face and neck in slow circular motions for 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
Follow immediately with the Triple Tea Antioxidant Essence as Step 2 of your ritual.
Metta's tip: Apply to skin that is slightly damp and warm — rice bran absorbs more deeply into open pores after a warm rinse. Take the full 60 seconds. This is the moment your ritual begins.
