Born and raised in Jakarta, Metta infuses her experiences into her international endeavors, empowering others to thrive. She has served as the Chair of SEALA, an academy for heart-centric leaders in South and Southeast Asia. She also serves on the board of Mentari, a non-profit helping reintegrate survivors of sexual trafficking into society. JUARA also partners with Mentari on their trafficking prevention and education initiatives in Indonesia, as well as their wellness programs in the US.

She has led JUARA wellness retreats in Bali and the US, and is actively involved in the Global Wellness Institute's Aesthetic Health Initiative. This initiative explores the scientific connection between the physical body and mental and spiritual health, a philosophy also central to JUARA philosophy that views beauty rituals as precious moments of self-reflection, giving space to foster appreciation and gratitude towards ourselves.

In her personal life, Metta enthusiastically pursues singing, traveling, and lifelong learning. Amidst living between New York and Jakarta, she intentionally focuses on spending quality time with friends during travels around the world for work. These cherished moments reflect her belief in the value of strong relationships and shared experiences - also an important part of wellbeing.
