Sustainable Packaging

JUARA has always been at the forefront of sustainable packaging and eco friendly practices.

We believe that by providing recyclable, biodegradable packaging we are not only protecting our skincare, but also the environment from the harm caused by single-use plastics.

What is the biggest problem with single-use plastic?

Millions of tons of plastic leak into our waters each year due to large quantities of single-use plastic being consumed and mismanaged. Once in the environment, plastic pollution breaks into microplastics through sun exposure and weathering.

Sustainable packaging is important

JUARA has always been In 2021 we switched many of our products from plastic to glass (an endlessly recyclable material), and we've introduced PCR (post-consumer plastic) for our tubes. Our focus on this is simple: to help close the loop on packaging. No complicated or time-consuming recycling schemes.

No boring board.

Any cardboard we use meets the standards set by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). It's a global not-for-profit that specialises in responsible, sustainable forest management and guarantees that our cardboard is produced from forests managed to preserve biodiversity while benefitting local communities.
